Welcome to the YMCA
Guildford YMCA has a long history in the town, and for 20 years has provided safe housing for young people in the Bridge Street hostel along with bed and breakfast accommodation, conferencing and restaurant facilities. Youth work projects based at Plantation in Market Street have further developed the 'YMCA effect' on local young people.
Here is a message from Pete Brayne, Guildford YMCA CEO
And here's our official information from the Charity Commission website.
What's new at Guildford YMCA?
Refurbishment work is nearly complete on another group of hostel bedrooms to install en suite facilities and upgrade the fittings. This ongoing improvement of accommodation further enhances the 4 stars already awarded to the hostel by VisitBritain. Rooms can be booked by calling 01483 532555.
Staying at the YMCA

Did you know that there are 120 bedrooms at our Bridge Street hostel? And although 'YMCA' stands for Young Men's Christian Association you don't have to be young, male or even have a faith to stay there!
Within minutes of the railway and bus stations, and Guildford town centre, where better to stay?
And remember, we have some new single en suite rooms available.
Do visit our new webpage featuring local attractions. Whether you live in Guildford or are visiting us soon, we hope this will help to make your stay more interesting.
