George Williams

The George Williams lounge is named after the founder of the YMCA movement. Out of his concern for the welfare of the many young men working long hours in London far from home, George Williams started a Bible study and prayer meeting. This rapidly led to the founding of the Young Men's Christian Association in June 1844.

The George Williams lounge is on the ground floor and overlooks the river.
