Guildford YMCA is pleased to announce a new initiative called The Life Change Fund. This fund gives opportunities to young people who need support in order to overcome barriers in achieving their full potential.

With the support of local companies we can help young people overcome life-limiting issues and enable them to choose better life options.

Supporting your community says a lot about about your company. It impresses your customers and it helps your employees to feel part of a company that cares. But it isn’t all one-sided.

There are many ways in which you and your company can benefit:-

• PR opportunities arising through planned media coverage with local press and radio

• Support to be highlighted in Guildford YMCA newspaper produced twice a year and delivered to 21,000 homes and businesses. 4,000 copies also distributed through foyer and other events

• Company logo displayed on The Life Change Fund sign outside the YMCA in Bridge Street – seen by all who enter (86,000 in 2004) and pass by in the heavy traffic!

• Company logo featured on The Life Change Fund website

• Receive publicity through donating raffle prizes

• A demonstrated commitment to the local community

• Opportunites for staff to participate in volunteering and mentoring

• Invitation to events with excellent networking opportunities with existing supporters from the statutory, corporate and voluntary sectors.
