Voluntary Internal Auditor

We are looking to recruit an internal auditor for 3 to 5 days per annum.

Guildford YMCA is a charity with a turnover of £2.1m providing two hostels and projects to the Youth of Guildford and Surrey. The finance department has 4 part time staff and there are approx 100 employees.

Reporting to the Chief Executive the role would audit the effectiveness of policies, procedures and standards by which the charities financial, physical and information resources are managed, this largely by testing the management of risk.

We are looking for a qualified or experienced professional to undertake a few hours investigation, write short reports with recommendations or issues. The time spent would be at the convenience of the auditor.
